Students Rise Up Against Gendered Islamophobia

This training is specifically tailored towards students from Muslim and Muslim adjacent backgrounds. We will focus on what Gendered Islamophobia is and ways to strategically organize, advocate and build coalitions to dismantle this structural form of violence on college campuses. Students at all levels, professors, faculty and staff working in a campus environment are all welcome to join. The emphasis will be on building collective power centering the experiences of students on US-based college campuses.

Goal: Build analysis and power with Muslim and Muslim adjacent students in campuses across the United States to understand and organize against Gendered Islamophobia.

When: Saturday, June 5th at 9am PST/11am CT/12pm EST – 6:30pm PST/8:30pm CT/9:30pm EST.
