Sex education and advocacy for Muslims
For fifteen years, HEART has been rooted in Muslim communities, supporting people in making informed choices about their bodies, safety, and reproductive lives. We have shown up alongside survivors. We have offered culturally grounded education. We have worked toward a future where dignity and self-determination are not negotiable.
That work continues because of community.
When you give to HEART, you are redistributing resources in ways rooted in justice, dignity, and accountability to those most impacted. Our zakat and sadaqah are acts of niyyah (intention) and amanah (trust). They reflect our responsibility to one another.
Over the past fifteen years, with the support of this community:
Today, HEART’s Survivor Care Fund, Reproductive Justice Fund, and Inaya Care Fund provide direct financial support to community members who are seeking safety from gender-based violence, accessing reproductive and sexual healthcare, or navigating displacement, grief, and state violence.
The work ahead is as urgent as the work behind us. We are building toward the next chapter of Muslim-led, survivor-centered reproductive justice, with gratitude for how far this community has carried us. Sustained. Accountable. Rooted in community.
Our processor takes a percentage of online donations as a fee. Larger donations mean larger fees. To ensure 100% of your gift goes to HEART, you can:
HEART Women & Girls is an IRS 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Your donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent of the law. (EIN/Tax ID: 27-3625796)
Your donation helps ensure HEART can continue holding space for marginalized Muslims, showing compassionate care for survivors with a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, and breaking the silence on reproductive justice.
Here to fulfill your zakat? Simply designate your gift on the form or write “zakat” in the comment section. All Zakat donations are directly routed to HEART’s community care funds – pools of funding reserved solely for survivors of violence, people impacted by reproductive oppression, or people affected by ongoing conflicts and atrocities in the Global South.
