Named after her paternal and maternal grandmothers, Betty Rosenda (BettyRose) firmly believes in the power of speaking one’s truth and the practice of politically re-imaging the world as crucial starting points to bringing about equitable change.
Her background is working with Survivors of Color of gender-based violence (GBV) for over a decade in various positions including as Advocate, Peer Crisis Counselor, Educator, Group Facilitator, and other other capacities. She also has a strong curiosity for collective and personal histories, languages, and public health issues.
