Last year, we hosted our first in-person DMV iftar with Howard University, George Washington University, and American University. This year, we are excited to offer this opportunity again! We are so excited to be in community once again.
Where: American University (exact address will be shared upon registration)
When: Thursday, April 13th from 7:30-9pm EST.
Are you a Muslim in college looking for a Muslim community beyond just your university? Are you a Muslim in the DMV missing your community? Are you a Muslim professional looking to meet young college-aged Muslims? Are you a college-aged Muslim looking to meet working Muslim professionals? Look no further!
Whether this time of year makes you feel a heightened sense of spiritual connection and clarity, or you struggle to feel connected you are invited to join HEART for another inter-generational, inter-MSA iftar!
The first of this kind, this Iftar hopes to build community across the DMV. Come through for a night of food, community-building, photos, and more. Learn more about HEART’s work, hear from some incredible speakers, participate in healing activities, raffle, and more. Space is limited so register for a ticket and stay tuned for all the exciting updates to come.
Please note that, out of an abundance of caution and respect for different health needs, masks (when we aren’t eating) and proof of vaccination are required.
