The Sex Talk Curriculum Pilot is based on the book The Sex Talk: A Muslim’s Guide to Healthy Sex and Relationships. Published in August 2022, it covers a wide range of topics such as healthy relationships, sexual anatomy and physiology, contraception, STIs, consent, and more. This space is built to be a shame-free, conversation-based, and accessible conversation to all students, regardless of background or identity.Participation is virtual and free. All participants will receive a free copy of The Sex Talk: A Muslim’s Guide to Healthy Sex and Relationships. The time commitment will be 2-3 hours per week, virtually. The participants’ feedback during the program will help us finetune the curriculum before our official launch this fall.
Please note: we are prioritizing participants who have often been excluded from mainstream Muslim spaces and most-impacted Muslims including, but not limited to: queer + trans Muslims, Muslims in the South, immigrants, low-income Muslims, etc.
