Given the heightened threat of COVID-19, we have been monitoring the situation daily and consulting key stakeholders, including our board, about our upcoming travel commitments. We have the added benefit of having two doctorate level epidemiologists on our board.

As the risk around COVID-19 changes daily, and each of our staff live in regions where it is quickly spreading, our board has advised us to cancel all travel and in-person programming in the near future until the issue resolves. We do not want to expose our team, we do not want to bring any exposure from our respective cities to other places that may have less cases, and we understand that the risk of quarantining continues to increase as each day passes. As our work is in the field of public health, our organization is committed to lead by example in decreasing the spread of COVID-19.

The well-being of our team and the communities we serve are of utmost priority to us.
