Jessica Athens, PhD, is the Policy and Research Officer at the New York State Health Foundation. Her research focuses on community health assessment and the spatial distribution of health inequalities.
She is interested particularly in prevention of sexual violence and ensuring sexual health for all. She is excited to support HEART’s efforts to address sexual wellness in Muslim communities in the United States.
