We are committed to ensuring that our board is diverse and representative of the communities we serve with respect to race and ethnicity, religion, profession, field of expertise, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, career stage, etc. We encourage individuals from underrepresented communities and/or those with clinical, legal, and financial planning expertise to apply.
We are currently looking for people interested in being a board member.
Process: In the next two years, we anticipate at least 6 open positions as various members will be tenuring off. We will recruit these board members on an ongoing basis, staggering their onboarding, with 2 this year, 2 next year, and 2 the following year. If your application is not considered for this round, we will be reaching out for future rounds to gauge continued interest.
Board term expectations: Board terms are 3 years, with the option of 1 renewal, totaling a 6 year term.
What we’re looking for: There are some specific skills and talents we are prioritizing: finance/budgeting***, public health research, strategic planning, communication, legal, human resources, fundraising/development, and clinical experience.
***finance/budgeting is the highest priority for this cycle.
