Building upon a history of shared values and intersecting work, the Partnership to End Gendered Islamophobia brings together HEART, Justice for Muslims Collective and Vigilant Love to build analysis, tools and power to dismantle Gendered Islamophobia. Sitting at the intersection of the Gender-based Violence and Anti-Terror Industrial Complex fields, these organizations are committed to addressing GI from both perspectives. The partnership held a convening on September 11th to make space for those who are entrenched in the work but are rarely centered in conversations on the impacts of the war on Terror. Since the convening, this group has continued build together at monthly coalition meetings. Our collective analysis is reflected in this report that we are so proud to share with all in our communities.
