Wajiha Akhtar is an Associate Researcher at the Population Health Institute where she serves as an Epidemiologist and Evaluator for Injury and Violence Prevention at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. She also serves as a Limited Service Faculty Member at George Washington University.
Dr. Akhtar’s work centers around understanding the burden of sexual violence and intimate partner violence prevention along with evaluating evidenced-based programming for young adults.
